Exhibitors from around the state of Georgia enter exquisite examples of their talented works throughout these programs. It is located at 1 Colonel Samuel Smith Drive in South Etobicoke, on the Georgia Living Competitions are comprised of the Home Arts and Fine Arts, Youth Educational Exhibits, and Fair Bear Creative Writing Competitions. The Assembly Hall is a City of Toronto municipal cultural facility. We would like to invite you to the opening celebration on September 10, from 1 – 3pm. Thanks to Karen Wild, member of Simcoe Watershed Art Project and the staff at the Assembly Hall for their efforts to bring this enlightening exhibit to you. The artists have also given workshops to children at the Ladies of the Lake event at the Splash Festival at Jackson’s Point in 2011 as well as print workshops for teenagers in Keswick. The Simcoe Watershed Art Project, founded by Jennie Clark and a team of artists has been exhibiting art in Toronto, Unionville, Barrie, Orillia, Midland, and Aurora since 2011, and many artists from Simcoe County and beyond have had the opportunity to show the public their art.Īt the Orillia Museum of Art and History the artists partnered with the biochemistry Department faculty from Lakehead University to showcase the state of the water in Lake Simcoe and Lake Couchiching. This exhibition will display paintings, pottery and photography highlighting the beauty and fragility of our water in the lakes, rivers, streams and marshes. Please call (905) 527-6610 before visiting to verify the space is open to the public. The gallery was filled with artists, friends, and families, and plenty of excitement, laughter, and good vibes. Many of the featured works created by students of our Art Program were showcased at The Stockade Garden Art Show in Schenectady in 2021. This exhibition space doubles as an event space and is often closed for private events. The Living Resources Arts Program was pleased to host an art show at the Miller Sanders Gallery at our Main Office in Albany.
